Schachne Architects & Builders designed and rebuilt a master bathroom in my residence. The project started out as a problem solving matter: no one could identify the source of a leak in the master bathroom exterior wall. By the time the project was over we had completely demolished, redesigned and rebuilt the master bathroom. There were 3 stages to this project: find and resolve the leak (it turned out to be due to the foundation); redesign a new master bathroom and rebuild it. Our bathroom turned out tremendous. It is a very sophisticated design that was built extremely well. I highly recommend Schachne Architects & Builders. We have plans for a major remodel in our home in the future and we will be using them again.

He was very attentive from start to finish and stayed on target to meet our aggressive deadline. Working closely with Stan Schachne greatly helped us in meeting all of our renovation goals. We wanted a kitchen full of light, fairly traditional but with an eclectic twist. We also wanted a large porch with a tropical flair off the livingroom and a brand new hurricane-rated metal roof. Stan guided us through the design and construction process and turned our concepts into functional space in ways we had not thought of. His solid experience avoided costly errors and he always provided us with accurate estimates for costs and time to complete the project. He was able to make recommendations that we had not thought of, to optimize the quality of the overall design while keeping construction costs down. Stan created the best physical environment for the kitchen and the porch within both our budget and our time frame. He had our best interests at heart, and we were always able to communicate with him openly as the project developed. We were living abroad at that time and comunications could have been a problem but Stan made it very easy: he called us, emailed us, sent pictures of the renovation at every stage, he even took pictures of the kitchen at different times of the day to show our the light changed the room...

Stan carefully edited our ideas by giving to our works of art space to breath and light to unleash their magic.
