We designed this new 1,050 s.f. cabana/guest house in Boca Raton to tie into the existing house. The owner requested that the addition not look like an addition when completed. The main cabana space has retractable bifold doors in the front facing the pool and corner "L" shape pocket doors that open up the corner of the building to an outdoor sitting area. A guest bedroom and bathroom is also incorporated in the overall plan. A circular stair provides access to the second floor deck for the owner to use for her bird watching.

We were retained to design and build a new 3,500 s.f. hair salon. The work consists of demolition of the prior tenant space, build out of new areas and development of new cabinetry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and new finishes throughout.

The owner retained our services to design and build an expansion to their existing 2,150 s.f. house. The 944 s.f. addition/renovation will incorporate a new master bedroom, master bathroom, laundry room, guest bathroom, expanded living room and expanded bedroom. A extended cover porch will also be added to the rear of the house. The main goal of the additional living room expansion is to raise the ceiling area for a more open space feel. An existing wood beam will be replaced with a new 35' long steel beam with a new roof truss system overlaying the existing roof. This solution will provide the raised roof area without the house looking like there was an addition. The renovation will incorporate new energy efficient air conditioning, standing seam metal, impact resistant windows, tankless water heaters, new insulation and plumbing components.

This renovation consist of an addition/renovation to an existing 810 s.f. two bedroom one bath house with a new master suite and open kitchen/living room and covered porches. The new three bedroom, two bath house will also include a new one car garage for a total of 2,500 s.f.. All new high SEER air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, impact windows, insulation and a standing seam metal roof will be incorporated. The emphasis of addition design was to keep with the scale and architectural detail of the existing neighborhood while upgrading the house to meet current code requirements and updated aesthetics.

This preliminary design for a two story 3,000 s.f. four bedroom house is situated on the ocean on the west coast of a Caribbean island. The owner requested that the house be a narrow design so all spaces could be opened to take advantage of the ocean breezes. The cross currents alleviate the use of air conditioning and the wide overhangs provide shade of the outside patio's. Natural materials of the island will be integrated into the design as well as the simplistic structural system based on the limited use of modern construction methods.

The scope of this project was to add a +/- 950 square foot addition to an existing residence. The addition includes tying into the existing house and relocating the kitchen, formal dining area and living room to the new addition area. We developed two different interior schemes for the owners to evaluate.

Lauderdale.

We are in the design phase for the addition of an 2,100 s.f. guest house. The two story structure will include a one car garage, master bedroom and bath, guest bedroom and bath, living room, kitchen, laundry room, cabana bath and elevator. The pictures are a 3D computer generated rendering to show our client the finished look of the addition.
